4th studio album

2003年11月のUSツアー時に録音されたEP『Dub Narcotic Session』を間に挟み、前作『モールス』から約3年振りとなる4thフル・アルバム。多彩なゲストを迎えての前作から一転、テニスコーツの植野隆司（sax、hca）をフィーチャーした数曲を除き極力ゲストを排し、ベーシック・トラック＋ヴォーカルを一発録りライヴ形式にて録音。
安易なジャンル分けをすり抜ける楽曲ごとの振れ幅の広さはこれまで以上ながら、フレッシュ＆ソリッドな空気が全編を包む、グループ史上最もダイレクトで焦点の絞られた転機作。
