Sendai's own yumbo's first album in almost 6 years, also their first since The Great East Japan Earthquake which happened in March, 2011. Recording with 2 new members and strong guests like Tori Kudo (Maher Shalal Hash Baz), MC Sirafu (Kataomoi etc), Atsuko Hatano (Jim O'rourke band etc) and K records' LAKE, this double album is a perfect follow-up to highly praised "That's Reality" and beyond that, arguably their best recording to date.

東日本大震災発生直後、リーダー澁谷浩次らメンバー数名が避難していた仙台のbook cafe火星の庭にて収録され即時YouTubeにて公開された “人々の傘”“鬼火”をはじめ、前作『これが現実だ』発表後次々とライヴにて披露され反響を呼んできた楽曲群の録音が始まったのは2014年夏。前作と同じく演劇畑の本儀拓をエンジニアに迎え、いわゆるレコーディング・スタジオとは異なるシチュエーションにて敢行された仙台録音、工藤冬里（マヘル・シャラル・ハシュ・バズ）、MC Sirafu（片想い、ザ・なつやすみバンド他）、波多野敦子（ジム・オルーク・バンド他）、遠藤里美（片想い他）らが参加した東京録音、さらにはUS、KレコーズのLAKEのコーラス参加（“悪魔の歌”）と、澁谷によるこれまで以上に多彩さを増した楽曲／アレンジを引き立てるべく、足掛け2年、じっくりと時間をかけて制作され、最終的にはバンド史上初となるCD2枚組アルバムとして完成。

大作ではあるが、まさに粒揃いの楽曲と巧みな構成力により、冗長さのまるでない鮮やかなシークエンス。卓越したソングライティング＆アレンジメントと、けっして完璧さのみを第一義とすることのないプリミティヴでときに歪ですらあるうたと演奏とが絶妙に化学反応を起こし生まれる、優れた童謡にも匹敵するように聴き手を魅了してやまないyumboサウンドの一大到達点。カバーアートはこれまでの全アルバムと同様メンバー、工藤夏海によるもの。

Just a beautiful jazzy rap album with buttery smooth flows versed with huge talent. It's not only lovely to the ears, but the lyrics are profound and empowering about the struggles that she faces. zhangtastic
