2nd solo album of Koike Takashi from Nagoya’s own Siraoka. His first album in 7 years. Unlike very SOLO work of previous album "Uchu no Kusyami" , this can be called BAND record but of course he hasn’t lost any of his folky touch and adds more colors to each songs.

名古屋の至宝シラオカのフロントマンであり、「こいけぐらんじ」名義でのイラスト＆漫画制作でも知られる才人、小池喬。シラオカでのアンサンブルの妙を活かしたミニマル・グルーヴ・サウンドとは異なる、フォーキーで軽妙なスリーフィンガーピッキングと飄飄としてどこかユーモラスな語り口によるソロ作品＆ライヴでじわじわと支持者も増加中（共演者人気高し）。工藤冬里（マヘル・シャラル・ハシュ・バズ）、吉村秀樹（bloodthirsty butchers）、澁谷浩次（yumbo）らと共に7e.p.のレーベル10周年記念連作シリーズ「7e.p. presents 7solo」の一作としてリリースされた、自身認定オフィシャル・ソロ・デビュー・アルバム『宇宙のくしゃみ』以来、実に7年ぶりとなる2ndアルバム完成。

録音＆ミックスも自身が担当、唄とアコースティック・ギターのみの完全「ソロ」アルバムであった前作から一転、エンジニアリング＆コントラバスに名手稲田誠を迎え、エレキギター＆シンセサイザー杉山明弘 (DOIMOI、ログメン)＆ドラム亀山佳津雄 (TEASI) の名古屋コンビとのスタジオ・ライヴ録音によるダイナミック（時にワイルド）なバンド・サウンドを全面にフィーチャー。M6にはmmm＆井手健介、M1＆M2には堀嵜菜那がゲスト参加。既にライヴで評判を呼んでいたM9はじめ、2011年の自主制作盤『お風呂の栓』初出のM7＆M8、exシャムキャッツ夏目知幸監修のコンピ『Music For Gelateria』初出のM4、ハートカクテルへの提供曲M2も全て新ヴァージョンにて収録。

Mary Halvorson is a genius composer and guitarist who has developed her own musical language, and with Code Girl she has incorporated poetry into that language. Incredible compositions and lyricism (each track is a different kind of poem). Halvorson's playing is as great as usual, and all the other members of the band sound great. Robert Wyatt's singing in particular works extremely well in the tracks he's featured. Highly, highly recommend. rat
