5th studio album

『モチーフ返し』から約4年振りとなる5thアルバム。トータル65分というバンド史上最長アルバムながら、『ユリイカ』誌「Jポップの詩学」特集でも絶賛された日本語詞、「～風」とのジャンル分け不能の多様性／独自性いずれにおいてもずば抜けたソングライティング、遅速＆硬軟自由自在のグルーヴ感溢れる演奏とが溶け合うモールス・ワールドを鮮烈にパッケージ化。

2002年以来のモールス不動のプロダクション・チームであり、OGRE YOU ASSHOLE『アルファベータ vs. ラムダ』らを手掛けたプロデューサー斉藤耕治＆エンジニア多田聖樹との共同作業により2009年を通じて丹念に制作。

ベーシック・トラックの録音に、US録音の『Dub Narcotic Session』以来となるアナログ・テープを使用することにより、これまで以上にダイナミックなバンド・サウンドを獲得。さらに、5曲でストリングス・アレンジを手掛けたブレント・アーノルド（Modest Mouse、Quasi他）をはじめ、さや（テニスコーツ）、Ryo Hamamotoらのゲストもアルバムにカラフルさを与えている。
